Kate Noble is just one of over 2 million children stricken with insulin dependant Diabetes. Diagnosed at the age of 1 and now 16, Kate has already suffered through 10,000 insulin shots, 44,000 blood checks and 800 insulin pump catheter inserts.

Kate's father has often said "I would travel to the ends of the earth and climb every mountain to find a cure for Diabetes." In 2002, he set out to do just, and climbed Mt. Whitney, the tallest peak in the lower 48 states, and raised $60,000+ to help find a cure.

In June 2005, he set his sights higher. Guided by Mountain Link, the KTS team travelled to Bolivia to attempt to summit Huayna Potosi (19,975 ft) in the Cordillera Real and raised $120,000+ to help find a cure.

In August 2006, Kate's Dad and Mountain Link teamed up again on the 14,162' Mt. Shasta in Northern California's Cascade Range to Climb for Clinical Trials and raised $40,000 to support the clinical trials investigating a potential cure for Diabetes at Massachusettes General Hospital.

Please follow our lead. And this time you are invited to tie in. If you are interested in joining the climbing team, email Kate and her Dad at ranchmail@aol.com. But, you don't need an ice axe or crampons to be part of our team. All you need is to give with your heart and sponsor a KTS climber on the Climb for Clinical Trials. 100% of every dollar will help bring us closer to finding a cure for Kate and the millions of other children just like her.
